CARLSBAD ---- Two men were stabbed in a brawl early Saturday morning, Carlsbad police said. About 12:55 a.m., officers responded to a the scene of the fight, which involved roughly 10 people, on the 2700 block of Roosevelt Street. They found one man, identified as Brennan Nichols, 25, with two stab wounds lying on the ground. He was transported to a local hospital with nonlife-threatening injuries, a police report stated. Several hours later, officers located a second stab victim, identified as Samuel Robles, 25, at Tri-City Medical Center's Emergency Room. That person was being treated for a stab wound to the leg. Witnesses of the fight said several white men ran from the area in various directions. The incident remained under investigation Saturday, the report said.
